REGISTRATION:

Nursery School and Kindergarten registration, or if anyone has a sibling that you would like to register, will start February 2018. Those students already attending our Nursery School will receive a registration form for Kindergarten from the nursery school teacher.

For registration, please bring in the following (if applicable):

  • $25.00 non refundable registration fee
  • Birth Certificate
  • Baptismal Certificate
  • First Communion Certificate (If applicable)
  • School Records
  • Copy of the students report card

Nursery School Registration

We accept three and four year old children in our program. We not only offer a full time schedule, but we also offer a wide range of part time options and are very flexible. Please contact us to talk about the options that are good for you.

To facilitate matters, it is necessary to make an appointment (413-583-8550). Please bring with you the child's Birth and Baptismal Certificates, as well as the Immunization Records.There is a $25.00 Registration Fee.The full day would be 8:00 - 2:00 pm and the half day would be from 8:00 - 11:00 am.

Kindergarten - Grade 8 Registration

To attend Kindergarten in August/September of 2018, your child must be five years old by September 1st. Registration will start in February. If you would like to make an appointment or get more information, please call the school at 413-583-8550.

Please bring with you the child's Birth and Baptismal Certificates, as well as the Immunization Records. There is a $25.00 Registration Fee. Those students in the Nursery School who wish to attend Kindergarten will receive a registration form from the Nursery School teacher.

scholarship information

SJBS SCHOLARSHIP: Financial Aid will be available soon for the 2019-2020 school year for grades N - 8. We have two types of aid available – in-house scholarships and Diocesan Scholarships.

The Elaine McVicar/Sisters of St. Anne Scholarship is one of our in-house scholarships. McVicar Scholarship should be turned in by June 1st.

McVicar Scholarship/Sister of St. Anne

The Gerard W. Bourbeau Scholarship is our second in-house scholarship. The Bourbeau scholarship applies to any families with two or more students enrolled at St. John the Baptist School in. The Bourbeau Scholarship should be turned in by May 1st. Bourbeau Schorlarship

Both of these in-house scholarship forms are available in the office at your request or click on the link to print a copy.

The Diocesan Scholarship has three due dates - March 15, April 15 and May 15. Scholarships are good for students in grades K - 8. The Diocesan Scholarship is provided through the Annual Catholic Appeal for qualified Catholic students.

Diocesan Financial Aid is available for students in kindergarten through grade eight. Diocesan Financial Aid will be applied to tuition upon notification from the Diocese of Springfield. Families need only one application to cover all their children enrolled in our Diocesan elementary and high schools. To qualify for Diocesan Financial Aid, you must:

  • Be an active member of a Catholic Parish in the Diocese of Springfield;
  • Demonstrate financial need within the Diocesan guidelines;
  • Actively support and attend your Parish Church and have approval from your pastor;
  • Complete the financial aid application each year through FACTS. The FACTS program charges an application fee of $35.

Tuition Assistance/Appeals

Appeal of Tuition Assistance Decision

If your application for tuition assistance has been denied and your financial status has changed since you filed your income tax return or you are experiencing financial difficulty, you may appeal your decision. Please contact Deacon Keith Davies at sjbs.tuitiona@gmail.com.

Tuition for 2019-2020

Tuition may be paid at the time of registration or prior to the start of the school year. Payments may also be spread out over a ten month period due on the 15th of month.

Non Sponsored Tuition: $4,550 For sponsorship tuition please contact your parish.
